About Bharat Summit:
Delivering Global Justice
Today, the world finds itself at a crossroads- facing unprecedented challenges across the social, economic, political, ecological, and cultural spectrum. At this critical juncture, there is a growing need to renew our shared commitment to justice and cooperation across borders.
The Bharat Summit
Delivering Global Justice, hosted by the Government of Telangana, is a unique global gathering that aims to foster collective thinking, solidarity, and actionable collaboration among progressive forces from around the world. Timed to mark the 70th anniversary of the historic Afro-Asian Conference held in Bandung (April 1955), the Summit draws inspiration from the spirit of internationalism, equality, and mutual respect that defined that moment.
The Bharat Summit will convene over 95 progressive political parties, including nearly 40 presidents/vice-presidents and ministers (current and former), as well as 50 legislators and over 250 experts—from think tanks, academia, media, policy spaces, and diaspora communities.
The Summit will focus on six key themes

Climate Justice

Social Media and Technology

Multilateralism

Economic Justice

Political and Social Justice

Peace and Justice
Key Outcomes
- Deepen ties with progressive stakeholders—including policymakers, academics, activists, and professionals—from across the world.
- Inspire actionable policy and programmatic ideas to deepen Nyay (Justice) at local, national, and global levels. Grounded in the values of camaraderie (maitreya), compassion (karuna), truth (satya), and the belief that the world is one family (vasudhaiva kutumbakam), the Bharat Summit is an invitation to imagine a shared future—one defined by peace, prosperity, and dignity for all.
